Probably one of the most modern cities in the world and so close to the most isolated country in the world - North Korea.

My absolute favorite places are in Asia. They offer huge diversity of culture, hospitality, (in my opinion) best food of the world, great price-performance ratio and so much untouched nature. As a “Asia beginner” you may want to start your journey in Singapore or Taiwan.

Curves, curves and curves
The Mae Hong Son loop is located in the northern part of Thailand where the start and ending point is in Chiang Mai. The loop consists of more than 1800 curves through the mountains. Depending on your route the trip should be somewhere between 500 and 700 km.
Easy motorbike rental
Chiang Mai offers a huge selection of Motorbike rental shops. You can choose between small, mid and big machines. For those who doesn't want to drive manual gear, scooters are even more common. Remember to choose one with at least 125 ccm or even better 150 ccm.
